Tatiana Vargas

Tatiana Vargas has been part of the Artway team since December 2024. She is a public relations professional by training and primarily works as a cultural producer. She has professional experience in communications consulting and cultural project management. In Brazil, she provided communications consulting for theatre groups, chamber orchestras, art centres, and especially for artists in the music field. She was the executive producer of the production *Memórias Líquidas – Luís Bittencourt*, staged in 2016 in Brazil with funding from the Santa Maria Culture Incentive Law (LIC). In Portugal, she was responsible for the production, communication, and multimedia sector for the 2010 and 2011 editions of the Festivais de Outono, organised by the João Jacinto Magalhães Foundation and the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro. In recent years, she has worked as an artist manager and in the conception of applications for arts funding and the management of projects approved by the Direção Geral das Artes, among others. In these projects, she works on submission, management, production, and communications consulting. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from the Universities of Aveiro and Minho.
