Artway develops and directs leading artistic and cultural projects, with a special focus on promoting classical music and jazz, supporting young talent, and decentralizing cultural provision.
From Bragança to Funchal, and extending through Spain, France, and the United Kingdom, Artway has established itself as an active agent in cultural creation and dissemination. It has developed projects such as BEYRA Artistic Laboratory, a platform supporting and promoting young musicians and the Ensemble Orquestral da Beira Interior; the Festival Província Sonora, a traveling festival that brings music to less central regions; the Goldberg Burmester Cycle, dedicated to the performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations by pianist Pedro Burmester; the Suggia Cycle, a tribute to the Portuguese cellist Guilhermina Suggia; the International Clarinet Studio, offering training and masterclasses with leading clarinetists; as well as productions such as Traveling and Laughing with Mozart, Suggia and Casals – Passion and Music, Concert for Peace, Europe’s Day Concert, Poema Bar, Toy Box, Severa, The Fado of a Fado, Mozart Concert Arias – Un moto di Gioia, The Poet of Sounds, and the European project Bridging Musical Heritage, funded by the Creative Europe programme.
These productions reflect Artway’s commitment to artistic creation, circulation, and education, consolidating its role as a significant presence on both the national and international cultural scene.
