Ana Morais

Ana Morais has been part of the Artway team since January 2024. She holds a postgraduate degree in Arts Management from the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto, and a Postgraduate Degree in Social Economy from the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto. From an early age, she worked as an executive producer on various cultural projects in the city of Porto, including the Associação Amigos do Coliseu do Porto, Gesto - Cooperativa Cultural, CRL and FITEI – Festival Internacional de Teatro de Expressão Ibérica, with the theatre companies "As Boas Raparigas vão para o céu, as más para todo o lado" and "ASSÉDIO – Associação de Ideias Obscuras". She was programming assistant for the Population Engagement area of the Cultural Programming Department at Porto 2001 – European Capital of Culture, S.A., participating in the coordination/production and management of various internal projects, and supporting the production and management of external projects. In 2003/2004, she also worked as Production Assistant to the Coordinator of the Educational Service at Casa da Música/Porto 2001, S.A., being responsible for, among other things, the organisation, promotion and maintenance of contacts with the network of collaborating teachers; the organisation, promotion and contacts with schools; technical support in the production of musical performances by and for young people and technical support in the production of Educational Service seminars. In the academic years 2005/2006 and 2006/2007, she taught the "Sociology and Culture" module within the "Cultural Management" subject on the Stage Direction and Production Course at ESMAE - Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espetáculo do Instituto Politécnico do Porto.
