Luís Tinoco wins the award "Prémio Pessoa 2024"

Luís Tinoco was the winner of the 2024 Pessoa Award, one of the most important cultural awards in Portugal, given by the weekly newspaper Expresso and Caixa Geral de Depósitos. The prize recognizes Portuguese figures with a significant role in the country’s cultural and scientific life, and this year honored the composer for his contribution to classical music and Portuguese culture. In this 38th edition, Tinoco became only the third musician to receive the award, bringing music back to this distinction after decades.
