João Tinoco

Since 2025, he has been collaborating with Artway as a graphic designer. Graduated from IADE and currently works as an independent professional. He has carried out commissions for CTT, the Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, the publishers BMG and Universal, and the Municipal Museums of Vila Franca de Xira and Seixal, among others. As a children’s book illustrator, he has published with Gradiva and Caminho publishing houses. He produced the illustrations for the collection “Árvores e Florestas de Portugal”, published by the Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento, Liga para a Protecção da Natureza, and the newspaper Público. In parallel, he is also dedicated to painting and Japanese calligraphy. Developed a book publishing project, Hamsa, devoted to works on the subject of the world’s major spiritual traditions, through which he published “Reflexão sobre Yoga” by G. Stobbaerts and “Jesus na Tradição Sufi”by F. Skali. He is an Aikido instructor and leads a study group in Shinto Muso Ryu Jojutsu.
