Joana Pereira

From an early age, they maintained a close relationship with music and dance, experienced mainly on a personal level, alongside a continuous interest in observing and recording shared moments and experiences. Their training in the health field further deepened this attention to the body, presence, and human dynamics, decisively shaping their perspective. Their work in photography and audiovisual media emerges as a natural and inevitable evolution of this sensitive path, with a documentary approach focused on the relationship between image, body, and human context. They have collaborated on social, cultural, and artistic projects, documenting and supporting creative processes where the human dimension is central. In 2025, they joined the Artway team, taking responsibility, in collaboration with Abel Andrade, for creating audiovisual content and supporting the communication of its projects. At Artway, they contribute an attentive perspective on musical processes and their protagonists, combining artistic sensitivity with clarity in the construction of visual language.
